Moonlit Adventures, continued

Watching his retreating figure, Selene could feel a little pain in her heart as she stood at the place where Chris was, just some moments ago.
The boy she had never seen looked as if he was real and very familiar. As she stood there, replacing what Chris was doing just a while ago, she could feel the night as if all this was real; a real place, somewhere far away from her chaotic life.
Yes, she is an odd girl, she knows this is all a dream, a dream that will be etched in her memory like every other she has had. Her dreams are too vivid to be forgotten, and she has even spent years in her dream world.
Although, Selene is a 17 year old girl, she has lived 25 years of life.
And yet, she is shaking as she stands there, alone at night.
She has never encountered someone who could talk to her, or even notice her.
A boy she doesn't know, a little boy just talked to her, and she was scared of what that could mean. As the dream around her started collapsing, signifying the end of sleep for her, she kept looking at the moon which wasn't there a moment ago and only whispered-"He saw me, didn't he?" She fell on the rough ground, but before she could fall, a light covered her, making her float as several small children came out of nowhere, approaching her sleeping figure.
Chris can be seen in between them, smiling gently and standing behind everyone else as his hand points at Selene. His hand glowed with the same light that surrounded Selene.
All the children gathered close to her, and a bed came out right below Selene, the one she is very familiar with, as the children started getting it ready for her, Chris lowered her and the children tucked her in, making sure she sleeps soundly.
The dream environment is gone, and rather it's all dark around them, except for the light in Chris's hand gently warming Selene up. "It's time to wake up, Selene, You're just as I remember"
And with that, Chris and the children vanished right after giving one gentle smile at Selene's sleeping figure, and in time the surroundings changed to the usual room that Selene sleeps in.
As Selene wakes up, she lies there for a while, contemplating what the boy would mean for her, and scared of what he might be.
But the feelings of anxiousness is soon replaced by the feelings of meeting someone like her and having a friend. She gets up and starts getting ready for her work, a good spring in her steps as she goes....
