The Frozen Mind

It's been a long time, since I've looked up at you, Long forgotten the stillness of yours.  Ever glowing, ever silent, Listening, never responding. You keep staring at me even still, from the cover of my forgetfulness you peek behind, Mudding your shine, hiding the path.  As if teasing me from afar. But now i see you, The doubts cleared away. It seems that I needed a Storm, And reason to fall, So that I can begin to look up again.  But I guess you already know, the clouds are everlasting in our tug of war, And so is the storm.  I know now to look up, And remember the clouds, the winds and the rains.

Like a dream I remember the night, when I wished for a peaceful sight,  When i was naive, and my love was bright, It was when I wished upon a lonely flight Of a tailless star...... Like a dream I remember that sight, when I wished for a sinful light, When I was smitten and it gave my heart it's might. It was when I wished to set right,  My distorted life Like a dream I remember that light, which made me scream all of my plight, Of times when I was broken, and full of blight, It was when I wished to ignite,  My dead heart.... Like a dream I remember the plight, it was your love with which I could slowly rewrite, A happy and joyous end despite, A tale of wrongs and spite, That was my life. A dream, I forgot, we could rewrite, and now it feels I'm the blurry sprite, Who has lost the magic you liked, A mere memory, a battered knight, No longer in the shiny armor.... In your mind i fade like a Sprite, and like a dream you forget your blight,  That was me, a cause of all ...
