A CHANCE MEETING
A chance meeting, that's what we had,
The first time we met, I was taken aback.
As her figure disappeared, I made a note,
No matter what, I'll never let her go.
Used to watch her leave, day in and day out,
Scared to lose what little I gained,
Those little talks, were what took me forward.
In the end, couldn't hold back,
Those tears, that were never showed
Told her what was, indeed my wish.
Time became still, as I waited
A silent freeze got hold of me
But she came in that winter noon,
Like the shining bright moon.
Thus began our story,
Of the beauty and the fool....
The happiest person I became,
Walking beside her, it gave me warmth,
Listening to her, was the best of hue.
I would do everything, her smile I'll safeguard.
Couldn't realize, what I was doing,
As she started, slipping from my arms.
The name of the fool, lived up to its mark,
As his queen, went apart.
